This client asked me to help with bringing some interest to the garden, they wanted to introduce a wildlife element to the garden with a greenhouse to produce flower and vegetable seedling. I carried out a site survey plotted all the existing things they wanted to retain. I produced a design that would fit in with the surrounding but incorporate wildlife attraction. the installation of a wildlife pond gravel paths to give access to the new green house and a flow around the garden. In this case this installation was carried out by a local landscaper but having a design also gives the option to do it yourself.

Garden Development in Elmesthorpe Leicestershire

This garden has taken shape over a period, it is a new build set in its own grounds, “initially was a field”. Due to a limited funds to spend on this garden and the ambition to carry out the work themselves, my suggestion was to have a complete garden design to work to, then implement different aspects as funds came available, I have filled in on an advisery role throughout when they have needed my help.

Garden Development In Hoby Near Melton Mowbray

This projects ambition was to bring to life to a garden of a grade 2 listed building near Melton Mowbray. With some sympathetic planting to this quarter of an acre site, introducing substantial borders with perennial and structural planting to link the old with new to produce a modern feel but retain the character of the house, starts the process of ongoing updates to the garden. Going forward I’m constantly involved with the garden’s evolvement with hand holding and advice to the client.

This site was just a straight garden of grass.

The brief for this garden was to have a grown-up entertaining space with lots of ‘rooms of intrigu’e and areas to sit at different times of the day to have a modern twist but easily maintained as the owner had limited time to work in the garden.
